Do you sit most of the day at your job? I know I have to work to make an effort to get up throughout the day. It can be easy to just sit. We sit way to much as it is. Today I thought I’d share with you my quick “Get Up and Move” office workout. No equipment needed, but a chair or desk for the tricep dips. I try and make a point to do this everyday on my break. After you’ve done it a bit, or if you’re already used to exercise run through it 2x! Or make sure you do it again another time in the day. If you are new to working out, start slow. It’s okay to start out with less reps and add more as you can!
It’s pretty simple, just a way to move more!
10-15 Lunges (each side)
15 Calf Raises
15 Standing Leg Lifts (each side and to the back)
15 Standing Side Crunches (each side)
15 Tricep Dips
15 Wall Push-ups (or floor if you don’t mind)
15 Chair Crunches (sitting hold on the chair and balance to bring legs in, make sure you have a stable chair)
20 Scapula Retractions
I also like to stretch a bit too. It helps a ton when looking forward at a computer all day!
What do you do to move more throughout your day?
Hope this helps!
