Let’s be honest, many of us have grand ideas of getting fit or being at our best but don’t really know where to start unless we hear of a ‘magic program’. We may think we’ve taken every class and done every program possible to lose weight but somehow can’t manage to make it stick.
This is where Wellness Coaching comes in. As a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and Health Education Specialist I work with you individually one-on-one to develop a plan that fits into your lifestyle. I don’t hand you a plan and say follow this.. Why? While these plans will work, they only work while you follow them. Once you decide you are tired of the same old and go back to your old habits, the weight creeps back.
My goal is for us to work together to develop a new lifestyle that works for you long term. No. More. Dieting.
If you need education in certain areas, I am your resource person. I can guide you to a healthy meal plan that will help reduce your cholesterol or increase your energy.
Wondering what the first session includes?
We set goals for your future and work to break those down to make them feel attainable. We will also dig into topics you feel are challenging to help you overcome them.
The following sessions are developed for accountability as a check-in on the progression toward your goals. We also work to develop new goals each visit. Consistent follow-up sessions are key for success to ensure you really change behaviors over the long term.
